DECREASE OF 44.1 PER CENT IN THE JEWISH POPULATION OF HESSE-NASSAU, IN GERMANY, DURING THE 5-YEAR PERIOD, 1932 TO 1937 WAS REPORTED TODAY BY THE JOINT DISTRIBUTION COMMITTEE ON THE BASIS OF A STUDY RECEIVED FROM OVERSEAS, OF 139 SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED JEWISH COMMUNITIES.
