THE UNITED RUMANIAN JEWS OF AMERICA, IN A LETTER TO RUMANIAN MINISTER CHARLES A. DAVILA IN WASHINGTON, URGED TODAY THAT THE RUMANIAN GOVERNMENT TAKE “ALL PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES” TO PROTECT JEWS DESIRING TO EXERCISE THEIR RIGHT TO VOTE IN THE GENERAL ELECTIONS DEC. 20. THE LETTER, SIGNED BY CHARLES SONNENREICH, PRESIDENT, AND HERMAN SPEIER, SECRETARY OF THE ORGANIZATION, CALLED ATTENTION TO THE CAMPAIGN OF THE ANTI-SEMITIC PRESS AGAINST PARTICIPATION OF JEWS IN THE ELECTION.
