DR. JACOB J. TAUBENHAUS, PALESTINE-BORN PLANT PATHOLOGIST AT TEXAS AGRICULTURAL AND MECHANICAL COLLEGE WHOSE WORK WAS INSTRUMENTAL IN CONTROLLING COTTON ROOT ROT, DIED MONDAY NIGHT AT THE AGE OF 53, AFTER SEVERAL MONTHS’ ILLNESS. HE WAS ONE OF THE FIRST GRADUATES OF THE MIKVEH ISRAEL AGRICULTURAL SCHOOL OF PALESTINE.
