Concern over the delay occasioned by the British White Paper and a demand for execution of the mandate in the interim are expressed in a cable, signed by Dr. Stephen S. Wise and other Zionist leaders, sent to the Zionist Executive in London for transmission to the Colonial Office.

Hadassah believes that the investigation to be carried out by the new British commission in Palestine will reveal that partition is “inherently unworkable” and will lead to a new recommendation for bringing peace to Palestine, Mrs. Moses P. Epstein, national president, said in a statement today welcoming the “sreadth of the terms of reference.”
