Two Lwow University deans, Prof. Ostrowski of the medical faculty and Prof. Jan. Samsonowicz of the mathematics department, resigned today in sympathy with Rector Kulczynski, who resigned last week when the school authorities introduced “ghetto benches” for Jewish students over his objections.
