The Jewish State Party today published an open letter to Dr. Chaim Weizmann, president of the World Zionist Organization, questioning him on extracts from the purported draft of a letter by Dr. Weizmann to Colonial Secretary William Ormsby-Gore last July 20 confirming a conversation on proposed partition of Palestine the previous day.

The open letter is published as a one day newspaper called Hamishpat (Judgment) and quotes the following paragraph from the Weizmann document: “At the end of our conversation, which dealt with these major points (controversial issues in the partition plan listed by Dr. Weizmann) I told you that if they could be satisfactorily settled I should personally support acceptance of the Partition Scheme.”

Meir Grossman, head of the Jewish State Party, recently was suspended by a Zionist court of honor from all Zionist posts for having published the purported draft of the Weizmann letter during the last Zionist Congress.
