Informed Arab sources are convinced that Germany and Italy have increased their alleged undercover aid to the Arab terrorists operating in Palestine, the Laborite Daily Herald said today. This belief persists in spite of the fact that the Italian radio transmitting station at Bari has ceased broadcasts designed to stir up rebellion among the Arabs, the newspaper added.

According to reports reaching the newspaper from Jerusalem a new threat now confronts the British authorities. Arab terrorist chieftains assertedly are recruiting “mercenaries” outside Palestine on a large scale, going as far as Kurdistan to sign up suitable fighting man power. Reports said that 200 “mercenaries,” among them a number of Kurds, crossed into Palestine from Syria over the weekend.
