One Jew was injured in excesses at the Warsaw Technical College today while the Warsaw Medical Association pressed a demand for a ban on Jews at the Warsaw University Medical School.
The Technical College disorders broke out after renewed agitation for extension of regulations requiring Jews to sit in special “ghetto benches.” The college was founded by two Jewish bankers about fifty years ago.
The Medical Association decided to introduce the “Aryan clause” barring Jews as members and adopted a resolution demanding that no Jews be admitted to Warsaw Medical School. Jewish members left the meeting and announced they were resigning in a body. The association recently voted down a resolution to incorporate the “Aryan clause” in its by-laws, but subsequently anti-Semitic National Democratic members gained a majority.
