The Anglo-Italian treaty will cause a collapse of anti-Semitic propaganda in Italy and may help in bringing about a “cordon sanitaire” around anti-Semitic nations in Europe, declares Dr. Dagobert D. Runes in an article written with material furnished by Captain Hugo d’Annunzio, son of the late Gabriele d’Annunzio. Dr. Runes, who is editor of Better English Magazine and former director of the Institute of Advanced Education, writes in the May issue of Current Digest Magazine to propose the establishment of a Jewish homeland in Ethiopia. The article is entitled “Abyssinia for the Jews.”
