The German Government has limited the amount of kosher meat which can be imported to the Reich in the form of donations since April 1, according to a statement by the Jewish Friends’ Food Fund. Consequently, for the time being the fund is unable to send meat to individuals, but the supply to institutions is not affected. It is hoped to resume sending meat to individuals in July. Kosher slaughter is prohibited in Germany.
