The first South American Pro-Palestine Congress concluded its sessions today, the 120 delegates from all parts of the continent adopting a resolution asking the British Government to open the gates of Palestine to enlarged Jewish immigration. The Congress sent a message of thanks to President Roosevelt for his proposal to establish an international refugee-aid commission. The meeting was sponsored by the Argentine section of the Jewish Agency for Palestine together with various Zionist organizations.
