12 Suicides in Vienna Follow Extension of Nuremberg Laws

Reports from Vienna said today that 12 suicides had followed announcement of extension of the Nazi Nuremberg laws to Austria. Four of the suicides were reported to be “Aryans” married to Jews. The Daily Telegraph reported a showcase had been erected in the main street of St. Polten, near Vienna, displaying photographs of local inhabitants snapped as they were leaving Jewish shops.
