An armed, disciplined army of 1,000 Jewish workers today occupied a fortified labor camp on the Palestine-Syrian frontier which will be turned into a permanent settlement after the barbed-wife barricade they are erecting along the border is completed. The camp site is beyond Kedesh Naphtali, Jewish colony in northeastern Palestine. The workers include members of the Histadruth, the Poale Mizrachi, Agudists and a group from Pekiyin, ancient village near acre, where lived a remnant of undispers’ed Jews who were recently evacuated because of Arab terrorism.
