Three new anti-Jewish bills will be introduced at the extraordinary Parliament session opening June 10, the National Radical organ, ABC, reported today. They will cover revision of citizenship, forbid changes in names and provide for non-recognition of diplomas from foreign universities. According to the procedure of the Sejm (chamber of deputies) the bills cannot be read before the next ordinary session.
The Polish Physicians’ Union, which recently introduced the “Aryan clause” in its by-laws barring Jews as members, petitioned the Minister of Welfare to empower the union to ban further admissions of Jews to medical practice.
