The executive committee of the ORT Federation, organization for Jewish vocational retraining, has assigned considerable sums to enlarge its activities in professional training and to establish workshops for apprentices in Poland and Lithuania. Special courses for plumbers will be opened shortly in Warsaw and Kaunas, since such courses gave excellent results in other centers. New training centers for adults were opened last month in Rodno, Makow-Mazowiecki and Pultusk to train new artisans and improve the methods of working artisans.
