Plans for establishment of a camp for German and Austrian refugees at West Park, N.Y., across the Hudson River from President Roosevelt’s Hyde Park estate, have been completed by the American Friends Service Committee. It will house mostly professionals, such as physicians, artists and writers. The camp, which will be known as “Aberdeen,” will give refuge to 30 persons at first, who will be selected in New York and will pay $1 a day for expenses.
