The Foreign Office announced in a communique today that the German Government has informed the British Government that although British Jews are required to register their property in Germany, the administrative authorities will refrain from registration in cases of British nationals residing abroad, unless they are emigres. Regarding the utilization of Jews’ property, in each case an examination will be made to make sure that their rights under the anglo-german commercial treaty are observed, the Reich informed the foreign office.
