Rhodesia Premier Opposes Immigration

Premier Geoffrey M. Huggins expressed surprise, in an interview here today, regarding the proposed settlement of 500 refugee families from Greater Germany in Northern Rhodesia. In view of the large number suggested, he said, the proposal appeared to cut across the policy of keeping south and central Africa British. There was also, he added, the problem of creating another minority difficulty.
