Nazi Policies Stir “moral Nausea” in England, Bishop Holds

The Bishop of Durham said today that Germany should be told its policies of oppression are creating in English minds a “Moral Nausea” which is the “most formidable of alienating factors” between the two nations. In a letter published in the times, the Bishop wrote that no policy of cooperation was sound and permanent if not based on a “community of sentiment with respect to the principles of social intercourse which is the ultimate basis of genuine civilization.”
