Negotiations with the German Government on the question of permitting Jewish Emigres to take with them part of their capital have already been opened, the Jewish telegraphic agency learns in official British circles.
Following consultations with United States Ambassador Hugh Wilson in Berlin, British Ambassador Sir Nevile Henderson is keeping in constant touch with the Wilhelmstrasse on the question of Jewish emigration. It is understood that Sir Nevile has already discussed every aspect of the problem, especially the question of the amount of money the emigres will be permitted to take with them. Contrary to reports in the European press, however, Sir Nevile has made no official demarche on the subject.
It is understood that negotiations have also been initiated to pave the way for more direct talks which George Rublee, director of the international Refugee Bureau, will undertake soon after his arrival.
