Police Clash with Band That Killed Neurologist; 20 Arabs Slain in Hebron Battle

One Arab terrorist was killed and another was wounded, it was announced today, when police engaged a band which had shot and killed Dr. Abraham Rosenthal, Palestine’s most prominent neurologist, as he was driving through Ramleh yesterday.

It was officially announced that at least 20 Arabs were killed on Tuesday when British war planes routed a band which had ambushed a military convoy near Hebron. An. Arab entered the Government hospital in Jaffa and seriously wounded an Arab patient recovering from recent wounds. A band invaded the Migdal magistrate’s court and railway station, stealing $200.

The victims of yesterday’s mine explosion near Tirath Zvi were Dr. David Mossinsohn, 35, a veterinary officer, the son of Dr. Ben-Zion Mossinsohn, noted Hebrew educator and leader of the Jewish National Council; Dr. Haim Sturman, 44, local chief of the Jewish colony of Ein Harod, and Haim Etkin, 40, an officer of Jewish supernumeraries. The wounded constable was removed to a Government hospital.
