Palestine Immigrants to Be Permitted to Cross Rumania

The Interior Ministry has notified the Palestine Office here that Jews going to Palestine from Poland, Czechoslovakia and the Baltic states will henceforth be permitted to cross Rumania provided they held immigration certificates and steamship tickets. The flow of immigration to Palestine via Rumania had been halted by a ban on issuance to Jews of transit visas.
