Jews were forbidden today to sell any securities on the Stock Exchange. This step was taken to prevent the drop that would occur should Jews at once unload their holdings to pay the 1,000,000 Mark fine imposed upon them. Later on they will be permitted to sell little by little to pay off the fine.

All Jews were banned from entering any university throughout the Reich. Jews now registered at the universities will no longer be permitted to attend lectures. Orders to this effect were wired to all universities by Dr. Bernhard Rust, Minister of Education.

German-Polish negotiations over the status of Polish Jews residing in the Reich have been suspended and the Polish delegation has left for Warsaw. This development came after persistent attempts to reach a solution of the situation caused by Germany’s recent mass expulsion of Polish Jews. The Polish delegation left after the German delegates had failed to reply to Polish proposals and informed the Germans that they would await a reply at Warsaw.
