A petition bearing 100,000 signatures and demanding immediate steps to establish a haven for German Jewish refugees in Palestine was presented to the Government today. The petition was signed by people of all creeds and in all walks of life.

The Council for German Jewry published a list of 46 individual contributions of more than $5,000. Reading the list were donations of $250,000 each by the families of Lord Samuel, Israel M. Sieff and Lord Rothschild. The contributions totalled more than $1,200,000.
