Benefit Concerts for Refugees Planned

Several benefit concerts for refugee causes are being planned. Governor and Mrs. Lehman head a group of sponsors for a concert at Carnegie Hall Dec. 26 which will feature Mischa Elman, Emanuel Feuermann, Rudolf Serkin and Madam Hulda Lashanska, the Joint Distribution Committee announced. B’nai B’rith is sponsoring a program of Spanish dances by Marina Yurlowa at Carnegie Hall on Dec. 17, with Bishop William T. Manning acting as chairman of the honorary committee for the function. Yehudi Menuhin, the violinist, is reported planning two benefit performances for refugees.
