The National Council of the Fascist Party, meeting in the Palazzo Littorio, today approved by acclamation the Government’s racial policy and sent a message to Premier Mussolini declaring “we are determined to follow this policy.” Secretary Achille Starace declared in an address that Italy’s racial policy was one of the major principles in the building of the Italian Empire and would be carried out in letter and in spirit.

Simultaneously, the official organ of the Italian Navy revealed for the first time the dismissal of four pillars of the navy who are Jews. They are Commander Aldo Ascoli, Admiral Paolo Maroni, General-Inspector of the Navy Umberto Ogliese and Major-General of the Navy Diorzio Rabbeno.
