2 Fascist Students to Die for Attack on Pro-jewish Rector in Rumania

The death penalty provided for by the new Rumanian Constitution of 1938 was imposed for the first time today. A military court at Cluj sentenced two Fascist students to be shot for the murder of a policeman during an attack upon the rector of the University of Cluj, Prof. Florian Stefanescu-Goanga, who had opposed anti-Jewish activities by the outlawed Iron Guardists.
