A policy of non-cooperation if Great Britain imposes a solution of the Palestine problem that involves either open or “camouflaged” Arab domination was approved today at a special conference of the Mapai, Jewish labor party.

A resolution declared the foremost political duty of the present was to nullify any scheme of that character and to obstruct any Arab-dominated regime. “The moment the British Government Jewish commits itself by a White Paper or decrees and restrictions,” the resolution said, “the Palestine Jewish community will enter a state of emergency requiring complete unity.”

The resolution urged speedy election and convocation of a new Jewish National Assembly to enlarge the powers of the Jewish National Council and sent the following message to world Jewry: “The builders will build, the defenders will defend; newcomers will come and the upbuilding process will be continued under any circumstances.”
