The Continental Congress of the Daughters of the American Revolution today adopted a resolution urging strict enforcement of the immigration laws and compulsory registration and finger-printing of aliens. Copies were sent to President Roosevelt and to Congress.

“In the pressure and necessities of today let not steps be taken to break down the legal requirements for admission,” the resolution said, “and such steps as may be advanced for the relief of oppressed peoples should be carried out within the present law.”
