The Government’s anti-Jewish bill neared final approval today when the Upper House, almost unanimously, adopted the compromise proposals drawn up by a joint committee of the two houses. The Lower House decided to discuss the proposals on Wednesday. If adopted by the Lower House, the bill is expected to become law this week since no third reading is required.
