A 92-year-old German Jew has placed an advertisement in the Juedisches Nachrichtenblatt, Reich Jewry’s only newspaper, asking if someone will care for him en route to Buenos Aires. “Who will look out a little for me aboard the Cap Arcona, sailing for Buenos Aires on May 16?” the ad asked. “I am fresh in spirit, 92 years old, only a little unsteady on my legs. Kindly address Israel Cohn at Wuppertal.”
