British Jew Jailed in Reich for ‘insulting Army’

A British subject was sentenced to eight months in jail by a special court here today for allegedly making disparaging remarks about the German army and the German Reich. The Briton is Charles Herman, a Jew, and the offense is alleged to have occurred in the Autumn of 1938, shortly after the occupation of the Sudetenland.
