American Legion Body Opposes Wagner-rogers Bill

The national executive committee of the American Legion was on record today as opposed to passage of the Wagner-Rogers bill for admission of 20,000 refugee children into the United States in the next two years. The committee’s action was in the form of approval of a recommendation of the National Americanism Commission to oppose the bill.
