Lawrence Berenson and Miss Cecilia Razovsky, New York Jewish leaders who came here in a vain effort to obtain permission for landing of 907 refugees from the German liner St. Louis left for the United States today.

The German Jewish Immigrants Committee meanwhile received the following radiogram from the refugees aboard the St. Louis: “Greatest despair prevails. Ship proceeding full speed toward Hamburg.”
