Prague advice said today that a synagogue was burned to the ground last night in Maerisch-Ostrau. The blaze, set by Nazi storm troopers who soaked the interior with gasoline, lasted from one to nine a.m. Fire brigades stood by under instructions from the German authorities to confine their efforts to preventing spread of tiblaze.
