This city has become the headquarters of the anti-Semitic propaganda machine in the United States, it was charged today by Dr. Rufus Jones and Clarence E. Pickett, respectively chairman and executive secretary of the American Friends Committee. Calling upon non-Jews to do everything in their power to stamp out the propaganda and urging State education to counteract it, the Quaker officials said: “The anti-Semitic method is not uniform. It changes and adapts itself to appeal to those who are dissatisfied and its purpose is always broader than a mere attack on those of Jewish faith.”
