A resolution reaffirming faith in the principles of religion, “love of God and love of neighbor,” as “the only adequate means for settling strife, misunderstanding and controversy,” was adopted at the closing session of the 23rd annual convention of Kiwanis International. Action followed an address by Roe Fulkerson, editorial writer of Kiwanis Magazine, who urged upon the delegates adoption of a more tolerant attitude toward their fellow men. He declared the organization was “wise when it broadened its horizons by taking into membership men of different races and creeds.”
