Entry Ban Applies to Refugees, Macdonald Tells Commons

The six-month ban on Jewish immigration to Palestine apply to refugees as well as immigrants in the ordinary categories, the House of Commons was informed today by Colonial Secretary Malcolm MacDonald. Students who leave Palestine, however, will be allowed to return, Mr. MacDonald said. The statement was made in reply to a question by Laborite Tom Williams.
