Josef Mendes da Costa, renowned Dutch Jewish sculptor, died here today at the age of 76. He was an officer in the Order of Orange and Nassau. Da Costa, who was born in Amsterdam, was best known for his architectural sculptures adorning public buildings here and elsewhere in Holland.
