President Manuel L. Quezon of the Philippines has told the Jewish Refugee Committee that there is no land available in the Lanao section of Mindanao Province for refugees, according to an Associated Press dispatch from Manila. An isolate portion of Catabato Province was suitable for refugee settlement, he said, but settlers would be asked to confine their efforts to crops not competing with Filipino products.
