Palestine Elects 133 Delegates to Zionist Congress; Laborites Lead with 90

It was officially announced today that 133 delegates to the forthcoming World Zionist Congress in Geneva were elected for Palestine in last Sunday’s balloting, instead of the expected 144 because of the invalidation of questionable registration certificates. The mandates are divided as follows: Mapai (Palestine labor party) 90; Left Poale-Zion, 5; Marxists, 1; Poel Hamizrachi, 14; General Zionists “A”, 9; the German list, 2; General Zionists “B”, 6; General Zionists “B” Workers, 3; Sephardim, 2; Yemenites, 1.
