The Zionist Congress Court today temporarily in validated the voting rights of all delegates from Palestine and Poland pending issuance of a verdict in the dispute over the elections in these two countries. The delegates may participate in the sessions without voting. An appeal charging irregularities in the elections was brought before the court by the Mizrachi, General Zionist B and Jewish State Party factions.
The congress is being attended by 560 elected delegates and 16 members of the Zionist General Council who attend without voting rights. Largest faction is the Laborite with 254 delegates. Others are General Zionist “A” 150; Mizrachi, 95; General Zionist “B” 45; Jewish State Party 10 and Left Poale Zion, 10.
Menachem M. Ussishkin president of the Jewish National Fund, was named president of the Congress at a preliminary meeting of the Zionist General Council A praesidium of eight, representing all parties was elected.
