Nahum Zemach, actor and founder of the Habimah, Hebrew theatrical troupe which successfully toured Europe and the United States, died here today at the age of 52. He had been ill several years.
Zemach was born in a village near Bialystok, Poland. He founded Habimah in Moscow in 1917. After touring Europe and America, the troupe split, part remaining here and the remainder establishing itself as a permanent theatre in Palestine.
