Download PDF for this date

Two leaders of Polish Jewry who earlier had been reported missing or killed are safe, according to advices received here today by the Agudath Israel, Jewish religious organization. They are Deputy Leib Minzberg, a member of the Polish Parliament and president of the Lodz Jewish Community, who was said to be in Pinsk, Soviet Poland; and Senator Jacob Trockenheim, who was stated to be on the Latvian frontier. Senator Trockenheim had originally been reported killed in the Nazi bombardment of Warsaw.
