A lodge exclusively for German Jewish immigrants has been established by the Grand Lodge of the Free Sons of Israel. The new unit, called Freedom Lodge, started with 70 members and aims to familiarize the refugees with American life. It was organized by William Marcus, well-known German Jewish leader.
