A Cernauti dispatch by the Havas News Agency reported today that 14,000 Jews fleeing Nazi persecution have crossed the German-Soviet border in Poland and have been sent into the interior of Russia.

The same dispatch quoted persistent rumors that Ukrainians quitting Soviet territory for Nazi zones in Poland have enlisted in a Ukrainian Legion formed by the Nazis at Cracow.
