The Soviet Legation here has categorically refused to grant transit visas to Polish citizens seeking to emigrate to Palestine via Russia. The Lithuanian Government has at the same time been officially informed by the Soviet Government that free emigration from the Wilno district to Western White Russia will be permitted.
