Damaging of Jews’ shop windows by anti-Semites has spread from West End and North London districts to Croydon.

In many cases labels with anti-Jewish slogans are pasted on windows at night, during the blackout, and the perpetrators have so far gone undetected, despite intensive police efforts. The chalking of walls with inscriptions such as “No War for the Jews” is also continuing.
