The Day, New York Yiddish daily, yesterday published a 48-page special edition in celebration of the 25th anniversary of its founding. The issue contains articles reviewing many aspects of Jewish and non-Jewish life in the past quarter-century.

Samuel Z. Zuckerman, an editor of The Day, in an article about the paper’s news-gathering facilities, pays special tribute to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, declaring that the J.T.A. has assumed “a most important place in the press of the world, and especially in the Yiddish press.”
