The Havas News Agency reported via Amsterdam today that comments in Berlin were describing the murder of Dr. Walter Engelberg, German Consulate attache in New York, as a political crime.

The killing, according to the agency, was being compared to the shootings of Wilhelm Gustloff, Nazi leader in Switzerland, and Ernst vom Rath, German Embassy attache, in Paris. In both the latter cases young Jews were the assassins.
